'Guinness World Record' Japanese Amusement Park: Fuji-Q Highland

Do you have a plan going to Mt.Fuji? If you have, why not visit one of the most well-known amusement parks in Japan?The park is called Fuji-Q Highland and it's famous for its world record attractions.

Have you heard about 'Fuji-Q Highland'? In Japan, this park is famous for its fabulous roller coasters and the haunted house 'Super Scary Labyrinth of Fear, Senritsu-meikyu'.

However, not many people know that they used to have 14 Guinness World Records in total and they are setting a world record every five years. (They now have 2 world records).Next world record attraction should be built in 2016.

#1 Takabish

Takabisha marked a world record as the steepest roller coaster in the world. It's angle is 121° when dropping, which means it is more than just falling vertically.

You will regret getting on to 'Takabisha'!

#2 Eejanaika

Eejanaika, which is pronounced 'a-a-jya-na-i-ka', is one of the roller coasters with the most inversions. It has 14 inversions through out the ride (The Smiler, Alton Towers also has 14 inversions).

In addition, this ride was the secondly built 4th Dimension coaster in the world. 4-D roller coaster means that the movement of a seat is added to an ordinary 3-D movement.

#3 Fujiyama

Fujiyama no longer has a world record, but it marked 4 Guinness world records in 1996;
World's Tallest Roller Coaster 79m, World's Tallest Roller Coaster Drop 70m, World's Fastest Roller Coaster 130km/h, World's Highest Drawing Height 71.5m.

#4 Dodonpa

Dodonpa used to have one world record and was claiming for the fastest acceleration. Its speed is 172 km/h (still ranked 4th in the world) and this super roller coaster goes up to the maximum speed only in 1.8 seconds!!!
