Shabu-Shabu, Have Fun While You Dine!
Shabu-Shabu is all about with diners getting to cook their thinly sliced beef and other ingredients in a hot pot right at the table.
Eating out in a restaurant is great, but eating out at a restaurant and doing your own cooking makes eating out even more fun! That’s what Shabu-Shabu is all about with diners getting to cook their thinly sliced beef and other ingredients in a hot pot right at the table.
"Shabu-shabu" means dipping the slice in hot water
For those of you familiar with another similar Japanese dish Sukiyaki the difference lies in that the beef or meat is sliced much thinner with Shabu-Shabu and diners gets to do their own cooking where with Sukiyaki the kitchen would do the cooking prior to serving to diners.
Enjoy the taste
There are many options of dipping sauce such as soy sauce, Ponzu sauce, and sesame sauce, but many restaurants will also give you the option of their own special dipping sauce. There are different choices of beef as well from lower priced top sirloin, to ribeye, and all the way up to the highly prized and highly price Wagyu steak.
If what you expect from diner out is more than just filling yourself up then try Shabu-Shabu and have some fun playing with your food!
