Mukojima-Hyakkaen Garden is a garden located in Tokyo. This garden was built in the Edo period. It is famous as a famous spot for plum blossoms that bloom from February to March.

向島百花園は、東京都にある庭園です。この庭は江戸時代にできました。2月〜3月に咲く梅と、秋の代表花である萩の名所として有名です。

Early spring flowers

Butterbur scape is a edible wild plant which can be harvesed in mountains around spring. When we order for seasonal Tempura in spring, it usually contains Butterbur scape (Fukinotou 蕗のとう). It’s a bit bitter but delicious.
